Barry Bonds was the greatest baseball player of all time when he was on Roids.

I don't think that is up for debate. It was fun to watch.

Tell me you’re watching GSW @ Kings without telling me you’re watching.

The steroid era was a lot of fun to watch.

He was probably top 10 or so before the steroids as well.

Ruth's years as a P put him ahead, imo

Had he retired after the 2000 season, he would have finished with 3 MVPs, 8 Gold Gloves, and more home runs than Lou Gehrig.

So older players are bigger than rookies?

Hell, he was one of the greatest without steroids.

Even without the steroids he was a great player. But people who claim the steroids didn’t have much affect on his home run numbers are full of shite.

Bonds was great. I’m older so it’s fun when the pirates are a good team. That was a great series with the braves. But he did take steroids. If they didn’t affect his performance why do people think he took them

He was a 3x MVP when he played for Pirates before the roid era, he should have been in HOF without the numbers from roid era

As if we needed any reminder that baseball writers are mostly worthless. Steroids or not, there’s no denying his ability.

best player I've ever seen by far.

Must watch TV whenever he was at the plate.

I think he is a victim of his own arrogance. Hard to root for him or give him his due over guys like Ted Williams, Mike Schmidt, George Brett or Tony Gwynn. I feel the same about Roger Clemens Sosa and McGwire.

Ortiz is in the HOF, keeping anyone else out because of PEDs is bullshite.
