Discussion regarding the upcoming NLCS.

It’s going to be a long weekend for us fans, but I’m sure the guys will enjoy the time off. Hopefully we bring our best to Arlington. We’re going to need it.

What are the Dodgers’ weaknesses? Do they have one? I am afraid.

Do I have the pitching rotation close to right?

Game 1: Fried
Game 2: Anderson
Game 3: Wright
Game 4: oh no
Game 5: Fried
Game 6: Anderson
Game 7: Wright

I have no idea how these young guys would handle short rest, or if Snit would even let them try.

I highly doubt they turn Anderson around on 3 days rest, no chance they do it for Wright.

You’re probably right. We better take care of business early in the series.

We need to steal one of those first two road games with Fried or Anderson and then it's paramount that we win our first home game in G3 with Wright.

If we have a 2-1 lead, then we can get through the next 2 bullpen games with worst case scenario, we're down 3-2 with Fried and Anderson set for G6 and G7.

Not ideal, not probable, but definitely possible.

Not to be a downer but just think if we had Soroka right now

G1: Soroka
G2: Fried
G3: Anderson
G4: Wright
G5: Bullpen
G6: Soroka
G7: Fried with Anderson in the pen

I know. If we just had one more stud starter, I'd feel a lot better about the series.

It honestly wouldn't shock me if we add Touki to the roster to be available for one of the bullpen games.

He apparently was doing well at the alternate site and we got a glimpse of him at his best early in the year. It's a huge risk, but one we may have to take.

This no breaks thing makes zero sense and it really fricks us.

I ain't skerred of the Dodgers.

With the only non-divisional games played against the other league, we really have no idea how good they - or any team - really are.

Braves pen is the best I can ever remember it top to bottom (and that includes the O'Ventbrel days) and the Braves have a team that benefits from the DH.

Braves INF defense has been great and d'Arnaud has been amazing behind the plate.

The only negatives I can say about the Braves are the lack of high tier SPs and Duvall can't hit RN.

Kind of a big negative when you see what the Dodgers have on the other side.

Dodgers have a more well-rounded offense but not by much, it's probably a push defensively with maybe a slight nod to the Braves, Braves have the better bullpen, but the Dodgers starting pitching is the big difference.

personally think the dodgers have a slight advantage on defense simply due to them probably having the best placement in the league and being so versatile up and down the roster

but thats a lower impact than the other aspects of the game

So we need to get into their 'pen.

Easier said than done, I know, but we have played the probable NL Cy Young winner in this post-season and won that game.
