Not even start just get on the court. Obviously his senior year of high school he could've started for almost any college in the country

His jumper was god awful in hs. Some of his scouting reports were “can get to the rim in any hs player in the country despite no respect for his shot.” Basically not as early as people are going to claim.

He averaged 21/6/6 as a rookie in the NBA.

He could’ve easily gotten 30/10/8 in college and absolutely destroyed people.

At 16 he would've been an above avg college player.

Oh I misread the title I thought it was him as a hs player in college not what would have been his freshman year in college

He would have been a starter at the University of South Carolina at 14

(our record was 8-21 that year)

No you didn’t I was just giving reference to what he would’ve done as an actual college freshman.

I think he would’ve been a pretty good college college player at 16.

He would have been a rotation player as a sophomore in high school .

Starter as a junior.

Top 20 player as a senior in high school.

All American as a freshman.

Oh ok at the gym and figured I read it wrong. 16-17 on a tournament team maybe 15-16 at a mid major

I remember a player from one of the post-Jordan Bulls teams saying that a 16-year-old LeBron was holding his own and just seemed like another NBA player in scrimmages against them. LeBron could probably have played in college at age 13 or 14.

MJ could have done it at 9.

I think he could have been a rotational player on a college program by his Junior year.

At the end of the day even with size he needed to work on strength to get in the paint against older competition and he needed enough development(coaching) to be able to do something besides drive and dunk.

Which teams would he not have started on as a 17 year old about to go the NBA?

15 for sure. By 16 he'd have started for a lot of teams

No c-ship though, his teammates wouldn’t of been good enough.

i mean he would have dominated college as a HS senior and been clearly the best player

Ben Simmons dominated college with a worst shot a decade later

you may have to go back to his freshman year for him not to be the best player in college
