Ok. I’m a big formal event guy. I’ll rent a tux and bring my rolling cooler.

Is there a table rate for a group? I’m curious to see if they make slacks big enough to fit Fred

Will refreshments be available?

Coffee, snack cakes, cookies?

And if so, are they included in the $25?

ETA: Here's historical fwiw: I saw Joaquin Andujar hit a 2 run, inside the park home run to beat the Cardinals 2-1, in 1979 in the A'dome. And he pitched a complete game. Never see THAT again

I saw Will Clark and that Mitchell guy hit back to back home runs in 1990 or so in the Astrodome. That’s all I got.

If nothing else, it needs a good pressure washing.

If that event isn’t at the Astrodome, you are doing it wrong. That waste of space needs to be used or blown up.

My dad took my brother and I to the All Star game their in 68 I believe. NL won 1-0 on Willie Mays triple, later scored the only run. It was on his birthday I believe.

Not to nick-pick, but his career stats don't show him hitting a home run against the Cardinals. He hit five in his major leage career: off Bill Lee of the Expos, Steve Rogers of the Expos and Rick Wise of the Padres _ with the Astros. The fourth was hit for the Cardinals, again off the Expos’ Rogers, on April 27, 1984, at Montreal. On May 15, 1984 still playing for the Cardinals he hit his fifth HR, a grandslam in the bottom of the 8th against the Braves. He also pitched a complete game for the win. How Joaquin Andujar made out like Babe Ruth for the Cardinals

A game in the AstroDome I attended on August 23, 1980 against the Cubs. Andujar pitched 8 shutout innings, as did the Cubs pitcher, so it was 0-0 in the bottom of the 8th. Andujar led off the bottom of the inning. (Virdon let him bat since he was a decent hitter.) He laced a triple down the left field line, but the Astros could not bring him home. Virdon replaced him in the top of the 9th and Andujar let his displeasure be known rather vigorously.

Astros finally won the game in the bottom of the 17th on a GWRBI by Joe Niekro.

Andujar's 2-run inside-the-park homerun was August 14th, 1979, against the Expos. Astros won 2-1.
