Not that this is surprise to anyone that really follows baseball. It was rampant. Astros made an example of to clean it up.

Pretty much like the Saints and bounty gate. With the pressure to win in sports everyone is going to find ways to get an advantage. And if we think these things and others aren't still going on we are all stupid. All through out baseball and even softball it's pretty common to see defense talking with a glove covering their mouth.

Once this generation of players retires and can't be punished for spilling the beans, that's when we'll learn that in exchange for no punishment the Astros players were put under a gag order from implicating other teams - specifically Manfred's big city darlings.

And I refuse to believe all of the many other players, managers, executives and journalists who have said that sign stealing was rampant..
They are all liars. The Astros are the only team to ever cheat in the entire history of Baseball.
Besides, there is no way a multi-billion dollar organization would sacrifice one team just to salvage the brand of the cash cows.
