Feldman says they will still honor his buyout. 6.3 million.

Considering they are firing him and basically admitting they have no evidence at all they have no other choice.

He would sue their arse otherwise.

People need to start suing these assholes. I cannot stand these smear jobs minus evidence. It circumvents the entire judicial process and strings people up in the court of public opinion. Either that, or I hope everyone and their mom gets accused of bullshite so we can all agree its a garbage method of "investigation".

Arizona taxpayers her fitting the bill to the tune of $18 million to fire two coaches (Rich Rodriguez & Todd Graham)

Both of which made bowl games, they finished in 2nd & 3rd place Pac-12 South behind USC.

Overall they were 43-35 (RR) & 46-32 (TG) in their tenure.

The tax payers won't pay a dime of those buyouts.

Damn, what I wouldn’t do to bang some college cheerleaders when I’m in my 40s and 50s.

It isn't that hard. Don't sleep with other women if you're married and in a position of power. I don't feel bad for Rich Rod at all.

amazing that a coach or low rank military officer can lose their job for an affair but not the president or a senator...

He could probably sue anyway claiming permanent damage to his abilities to get a new coaching job due to his firing.

They fired him right before national signing day which means he is highly unlikely to get a new job this season and firing him over accusations which are not substantiated creates a pall of guilt over him even though the school admits finding no wrongdoing.

He’s now been fired by both Michigan and Arizona and he is getting older, so the number of power 5 jobs he may get will drop significantly.

He’s likely to be limited to taking a MAC job like Frank Solich or a FCS job like Bo Pelini, both of which are a substantial step down from a power 5 job.

Agreed completely. If he's innocent you hope that he didn't sign away right to file a lawsuit if he had to sign anything to guarantee getting the buyout money.

I’d bet he had a morality clause in his contract. I’d also bet neither he nor the school wants to litigate whether sleeping around on your wife as the figurehead of the program violates that morality clause. The school pays him for a clean break and he’s happy to accept his millions to spare both he and his wife further embarrassment.

Some of you guys are fricking idiots.

it would get a lot harder to find a coach if cheating is firable offense.

Sure, but it’s much easier to get fired once you get caught
