People have been watching college football in the South since the 1890's. The NFL is the new arrival down here. There is a reason we're college football fanboys.

The only thing more pathetic was the guy yesterday trying to start a BOOMER SOONER chant in the sportsbook. fricking clown. He was bald and looked like your typical idiot. He was acting like Oklahoma blowing out UTEP was a big deal. He was saying to everyone around him "LOOK! Oklahoma scored again! Wow! 49 points now! OMG! 56 points! WOW!" as if Oklahoma was accomplishing the feat against Alabama

If you are a fan of CFB it's more likely that you are a college graduate so I would say yes

This is like being the skinniest kid at fat camp. It's not like being a football fan requires a particular amount of intelligence.

In my experience it's hard to have a conversation about football with someone who just watches NFL games. FOR EXAMPLE there have been dozens of times I talked to fellow Saints "fans" about football, only to find out they know little to nothing about the game of football other than scoring touchdowns = good. Do you know how many idiots have told me that Drew Brees is past his prime and needs to go, and the Saints need to get a younger faster QB? It's absolutely insane. And I have no issue wearing jersey's for you team, but you hit the nail on the head about these idiots wearing 3XL jerseys. Especially down here where these tards wear them to grocery stores and shite.

Again I don't want to sound like an elitist, I'm not looking to talk X's & O's, and coaching strategy with every person I know who watches football. But for the love of God at least know what a fricking intentional grounding penalty is.

Never stayed there. I hardly ever leave the strip though. Been to Fremont once. Lots of trash there.

Yeah that's foolish

I grew up a Saints fan Bc I'm from Nola, and it wasn't until a little later that I got into college football. But now I find the college game so much more entertaining. The passion, pageantry, various styles of offense, and sheer number of teams appeal to me.

I've never stayed at Westgate, I only go for their sportsbook which I believe is the best in Las Vegas

But their hotel is trashy as frick. It's the cheapest 4* hotel in the strip vicinity so it attracts all kind of riff raff. You can get rooms for as cheap as $20 a night there during the week.

Fremont is a downtown casino and so trash is expected there but at least its not trying to pretend to be something its not. I like going downtown just to people watch

college football is leaps and bounds more exciting. i think it may have something to do with college is individual players making big time plays, nfl is more about coaches making good calls

i'd rather root for a 21 year old kid making a spectacular play than John Fox making a great chess move

Opinion. CFB isn't very exciting to me.
