It wasn't mid game.

And I get your point. Oklahoma is really good. And Arkansas sucks

Who would be the third if y'all lost this weekend?

I do see that Mississippi State is actually at 14, so there is one possible top 15 win, though barely.

Never should have gone to a committee. It’s been okay but there’s no need for it. Just should have expanded into 4 team playoff.

Don't laugh.

But dammit, FSU was a top 25 team when Alabama beat them. I know they suck now, but nobody on this planet will convince me that they wouldn't be a top 25 team right now if they had a healthy DF.

I count them as a top 25 win. I hope the committee does as well.

Ohio State shouldn’t sniff the playoffs and if you think they do, then you’re a homer plain and simple. Nothing wrong with being a homer but just acknowledge it.

Well people shouldn't have freaked out when Saban's best team ever got into the NC with 1 OT loss to the #1 team in the country.

Why not just take the week off and not have to play Georgia.

That would be a bold strategy.

FSU isn’t a top 25 team is my point despite the fact you think they should be counted as one.

At the end of the day if you handle your business you are in, and if you don't then you let people control your destiny. I don't really think they should be in, but if chaos unfolds then who knows. Most of these teams have some sort of blemish, nobody is perfect, so it's just deciding what blemishes are more acceptable than others. That Iowa loss was ugly. I don't really put much stock into the Oklahoma game.

Lol except Oklahoma is one of the top 4 teams. So if you lost to one of them and you lost to an unranked team that's barely .500, you're not a top 4 team. Find someone else.

Ok dude don't get your thong in a wad. You are right that I overlooked #20 Memphis as a win for UCF. I stand corrected. My point is the same and it's still valid. Too many people are focusing on who you've lost to rather than who you've beaten and UCF has but 1 win. I'm not trying to say UCF is no good rather that they have not had the opportunity to show how good they are against ranked competition.

I don't know why people have such a hard time with this. The committee is basically starting every team off with 0 points and awarding points for quality wins. Noone is being punished for losses, but avoiding losing is basically nothing. The main way to guarantee yourself a playoff spot is beating good teams, if you beat 5 top 25 teams and lose 2 games you will be in the playoffs over any undefeated team that hasnt beat any top 25 teams. Memphis is good, but that isn't a big enough win to move the meter when their biggest credit wins are 5-6 ucla and 6-4 navy

wonder what the rankings will look like next week if every fav wins except Bama @ Auburn
obviously won't matter much because more reshuffling will take place on CCG weekend, but I really don't know how they would rank the top 6 in that case
