I miss the days of falling asleep watching a Top 10 Oregon or USC in a battle with a Utah or Arizona St at 1 AM.

It was only 6 years ago they had 3 teams in the Top 5 at one point.

There’s only one decent team left. It’s kinda sad.

Oregon should be very good moving forward. SC needs a new coach.

I miss USC and UCLA both being good football programs. USC had some of the best football games from the 2000s. Most of the schools simply don’t give a damn about sports anymore.

The USC 30/30 shows you how they became the power under Carroll
Let's just say Hollywood elite hanger ons were a big part of that success

Yeah I do.

I love watching Oregon and Washington. The Tedford teams at Cal were solid. Stanford had some excellent units. USC under Carroll was fun to root against.

Whats odd is there has been some decent talent come thru the conference, especially at QB. They just cant keep up recruiting wise imo.

Oregon might have it rolling right now though

I know people always talk about the Texas game but their game vs ND in 2005 was epic as well. Their game vs Oregon State in 08 was really competitive. They've had some really good games

Nah, not really.

Football at midnight is still football at midnight, no matter how shitty the teams are.

I think I will miss Leach though. His teams were always good for a 63-56 game here and there, but he decided to commit career suicide by taking his traveling circus to the SEC, where his scheme will clearly fail against teams that actually know how to play defense. (I'm looking at YOU, Bo Pelini )

USC vs Fresno State in 05... that was a hell of a game

I didn't hate USC nearly as much as I hated Colin Cowherd constantly slobbering all over them.

Mid-90s PAC-10 games on Fox regional, Barry Tompkins on the call. Great unis, cool stadiums, nasty rivalries—great way to end a day of football.

While it’s fun watching them get their shite pushed in during the playoff, college football is better when teams from every region are competitive. The Big 10 and PAC 12 winning one every once in a while would actually be a good thing.

Can you imagine if USC blows their ticket to an epic Rose Bowl because they lost to Fresno State? That almost happened.

It's a weird State of Washington thing. Cowherd is a big USC homer, Keith Jackson was a big USC homer.

Not really. They pulled ahead pretty comfortably in late 3rd/early 4th I think.

Fresno was the dumbest so-called rent-a-win the Pac continually scheduled.

They were really really good in the 2000's.
