Turtles and Cork & Kerry are near each other. Both are a good time. Lots of tits and arse too.

Shinnick's is cool because it's old, divey, and has lots of history. Politicians and ballplayers used to hang out there back in the day.

Underrated newer place is the Ballpark Pub on Pershing. Good food there, and the owners are good guys.

Grandstand is just a Sox store a few blocks west on 35th. Pretty much any type of Sox gear you'd want is in there. It's worth going just to see all the stuff. My buddy's extended family owns it, so I try to support them before buying merch inside the park.

I have a season ticket package, and I usually have a TD coozie on me, so if you see someone walking around with one, flag me down and I'll buy you a beer.

Just take the Red Line to Sox/35th, drops you right off at the stadium. I can't believe its been that long that it was built but it's not bad. Too bad they didn't configure it to face the Chicago skyline, the best views are on the ramp leaving behind the plate side. The Sox batting helmet full of chicken nachos is the way to go, not the greatest but not bad and good for 2.

Not far off interstate and plenty of parking right by stadium

I don't want to say it's in a bad neighborhood, but JJ, Wilona, Thelma, and Florida live 2 blocks over.

I went in bootcamp back in 98 because the Cubs were out of town. Don't remember much other than they played GRiffey

It's a pretty nondescript ballpark. Stadium atmosphere is gonna be a little bland and likely not sold out. Tailgating is a thing there so I would consider just bringing a disposable cooler and walking around drinking and taking it in.

We're good again, so it's been packed and loud with only 60% capacity. Hell, even Larry Leo posted a story about the chick fight in the leftfield bleachers. There were two other fights that night alone. And a beer snake (for you XFL fans).

Not this year unfortunately. No bags in the ballpark either. Hoping they lift that when the park goes back to full capacity in the next couple of weeks.

Next home game should be 100%. Wrigley was back today and jumping for an awesome comeback win over the cards. Went for a run through wrigleyville and it was awesome. Like olden times.

It’s an underrated park. Sure, it doesn’t have the bells and whistles like San Francisco, San Diego, etc. But it’s nice enough. I drove in from the west side of town a few years back. There was little activity going down on the streets.

I went a couple years ago. Stadium is fine. Nothing really memorable about it though. Tickets are dirt cheap so you can sit behind home plate no problem.

The area around the park sucks as you’d imagine. There is one decent bar/restaurant right by the stadium and it is just okay.

Like some have reiterated, the surrounding area is not dangerous at all.

You gotta have a dog/polish with grilled onions and generally speaking try as much food as possible. Highly recommend visiting the Kraft Kave in right field and or the Sox Social Tap room in left field. Both are accessible with any game ticket and are really cool with many drink options

It looks nice for a 30 year old stadium. It’s held up well
