The only team he'd consider is the Steelers IMO. And I still don't think he takes it

To coach the jets? Ole Miss is a better job than the jets right now.

Give him a $60 million/4 year deal, Jets. You can afford it. Make it too good for that money grubber to turn down.

If he turned down the alleged $100 million, % of the franchise offer from the Browns last year, they're going to have to do a lot better than that.

Aren't they in cap trouble?

the dolphins team he took over, was not exactly cap friendly, and had some horrible contracts to mediocre defensive players.

I didn't blame him for leaving that dumpster fire, it was a mess.

After they dump Ryan at the end of this season. Anybody think they'll go after Saban and throw ridiculous money at him to lure him up there. New York is not Miami after all.

I think he stays at Bama as long as he is doing as well as he is. I think he coaches another 5 years at the most. I think the only place he may go is Penn St. Its close to home and still a major program. I am just not sure if he wants any part of Penn St. after all that has happened. I think he is done with the pro game.

If he ever went back I would think it would be Dallas next year after Garrett gets canned.

I think its more about control of players with Nick.He had a problem with players not wanting to listen to him with the Dolphins. He has more control on the college level.

He is gonna be at Bama for 5 more years, win 4 more titles, erase the memory of the Bear and spend the rest of his life at his lake house (fighting off Bammers by the day from stealing his privacy).

He will never coach NFL Football again and there is no college team (Texas included) that is as rabid about football as Bama, or with a fanbase willing to deify a coach like Bama (and Saban loves the deification because he has a huge ego).

I, along with the rest of my LSU brethren and the rest of the SEC, need to get used to the fact that he is the best there ever was and maybe ever will be. It makes it easier to stomach.

Cam Cameron owes Saban a punch in the mouth.

Saban is a college football coach. No chance he ever walks an NFL sideline again. Book it!

Saban will only jump to the pros with an elite quarterback. Not an elite 2nd year. Not an elite prospect. Teams with a Rodgers, brees, manning, or Brady. Those jobs are never available.

Nobody is that good, Saban included. It takes hella luck to win titles, and the pendulum will swing back the other way. A QB goes down, the ball takes a funny bounce in a critical game, and Bama is playing in Shrevport on New Year's Eve.

He's a great coach, but he's benefited from a lot of things he had nothing to do with. At some point those things he doesn't control will go the other way.

The Jets seem like the last franchise that would be a good fit for Saban. Too much media attention, not a lot of talent, bad salary cap situation, too much drama around the team.
He's going to be at Bama until he retires.

Saban isn't heading back to the NFL, he turns 62 in October and makes 5.3 million at Alabama. The NFL teams that pay their HC more are:
Pats
Saints
Giants
Eagles
Steelers
Seahawks
Skins
Rams

plus I am willing to bet Alabama would bump his salary up into 6million mark if need be. He may earn more than 6 with the endorsements and what not

Laughable. No decent coach should or want to walk into that perpetual train wreck. And Ryan will be gone before the season.

Sexton takes offers from 3 NFL franchises and two College teams and Saban locks up a 10 yr/ 10 mil a year deal to stay at Bama. Why not, somebody supposedly offered a 2nd string receiver $600k. Everybody gets a raise?
