All the NBA (league, media, and to a lesser extent fans) care about is big market teams. It’s the Lebron era. I’m over it honestly. Just feels like there is absolutely no point in being a fan of a small market team. You’ll never win anything or retain any superstars long term.

interesting timing that they are doing this 10 days before the deadline. probably wants to get traded right now instead of the summer which is good for the lakers, but unless he wants to go full heel and burn it down it probably wont matter
