The people defending LAL assets are people that have a vested interest in AD going to LA aka ESPN.

I’m giving you my 100% honest opinion: the Lakers “assets” aren’t good. At all. Ingram and Ball aren’t good. I think you know it too man. You just really really want AD. And that’s cool.
Kuzma is good but has a bad hip. No high picks.
And I don’t think any of them would be happy about being here at all. You have to take that into account.
Regardless, nothing is happening until July.

Meh. Agree to disagree especially on Ingram and Lonzo.
Of course I want AD but I’ve just been trolling pretty much this entire thread with memes and whatnot while most of the Pels posters are losing their minds. Tbh I’ll be floored if NO actually trades him before the offseason and then the chances of landing him obviously will be much slimmer.

This is the opposite of my thoughts. AD's demand only benefits the Lakers.
There's a short list of teams that might gut their rosters for potentially only a year of AD. AD could trim that list if he makes it clear.
