For a long time lurker i even noticed boom made a post I agreed with in this thread. Idk what your angle is but common sense isn't a part of it. If they can actually sign AD long term then tell me 2 reasons they wouldn't or couldn't have to trade Tatum? Especially if Knicks get the #1 pick

Because Knicks are not trading Zion dude. If you think so. Then we will just never agree

AD doesn't want to play for Boston, right?

Pels will have zero leverage

Then you're stuck with the bucks deal

If you think at any point we will be "stuck with the bucks" then you are truly brain dead.

I don't think you'll get a "good" deal

But the reported Lakers offer will be the best you get

Not sure why that makes me a troll but whatever

The whole point of NYK or BOS getting AD is that they would have at least AD and Kyrie. If NYK think they can get KD then they will give us the 1st. If Boston think NYK will get KD and Kyrie then they will give us Tatum. Everyone of these scenarios make sense because every team trading for AD also plans on keeping or adding an all star.

The part about the Lakers willingness to eat a bad contract is interesting imo. Obviously Woj is referring to Solomon Hill

AD + Hill would be a combined $37MM this year so I’m curious what the Lakers would be tossing in to match salaries

That's the part that interests me the most. Does this eliminate the Lakers from a max spot this summer?

If they want, just the one year expirings could get them there.

If the Lakers are now willing to eat Hill’s shitty contract, I wonder if they are doing so to try and hang onto one of the younger players (Lonzo would be my guess)

Theyd need a third team to eat his contract

I think y'all lakers fans have really high hopes but the reailty is that if Bos or NYK are in the hunt then LA doesn't have a prayer.

he has to get past GOAT to get there. If he was in the east the last two years he woulda been there and lebron wouldn’t have.

And im waiting for one of you Lakers fans to tell me what could be flawed about the NYK and BOS bidding war and how LA would have any chance to beat them.

If I'm the Lakers, I'd shoot to keep Lonzo. He has less value than Ingram, probably around Kuzma's value.

He fits more naturally with potential FA's. Unless they get Kemba or Kyrie, they need a ballhandler. Ingram can sort of fill that role, but Kuzma can't. Lonzo is the best defender of the 3, and if they get AD,LeBron and a max FA, they need D more than additional firepower.

LMAO

A bidding war between the Knicks and Boston? This is becoming too funny

Knicks have jack shite now besides a 12% chance at the#1 pick which they would never trade for AD.

You keep saying this as if its fact when it is so dumb I don't know where to begin.

They would trade in a heartbeat if it meant that they also get Kyrie and/or KD as well. Instantly, without hesitation.

Why would they trade Zion on a rookie contract to play alongside Kyrie and KD?

Zion has better numbers than AD ever dreamed of

I'm not arguing here. I'm just curious about what you are actually saying. Is it one of these reasons?

1. They don't believe they are going to re-sign AD. So, they aren't going to trade Zion for one year with AD when they have no shot at competing.
2. Zion > AD
