AD to the Lakers is Dwight Howard to the Lakers 2.0
Aging superstars that are ball dominant (Kobe/LeBron) don't work well with big men who also need the ball. It's counterproductive and the end result will be extremely underwhelming in Los Angeles.

They are a title contender immediately

The Lakers didn't have the best player in the game (currently) on their team when Dwight joined them.

This is huge for the Lakers. They'll contend now barring injuries. If they get Kawhi somehow, it's all over for the next 2-3 years. Just hand them the trophy.

I couldn't say the same when Dwight joined the Lakers.

LeBron is 35 years old next season and there's no telling how his body will hold up for a regular season or playoff run.

This isn't 25 year old prime LeBron joining up with AD.

Anthony Davis is "aging?" He's just now entering his prime.

You wouldn’t say that if Anthony Davis stayed with the pelicans

LeBron - who broke down last regular season and played no defense.

Really? It's obvious that LeBron is the aging one.

If only we had some sort of sample to look at of Lebron in the playoffs in his 30’s. I’d like to know if he could still be good

No, it's 26 year old prime AD joining up with LeBron. He's not aging.

I guess, but he's also playing better later in his career than anyone else in NBA history.

Did you miss last season with LeBron glaringly declining and breaking down?

He literally couldn't get the Lakers in playoff contention when he returned from injury last season. All they needed to do was have a winning record and they bombed.

Howard's career high in PPG is 22.9. Davis has averaged 23.6 PPG for his career. AD is a far better offensive talent than Howard ever was.
