His son, Dajuan Wagner Jr, is currently the #1 rated basketball player in the 2023 class.

I'll be impressed when he scores 100 in a high school game

His son

Not really. He could have been 14 or 34 when he had him. Need some context.

How old was Dajuan Wagner when he had his kid? He graduated from Pitt in 2010, I think

I remember vehemently arguing how much better he was than Jay Williams.

Damn, I'm sure he had this kid when he was like 17 though so it doesn't make me feel that old.

Many would've lost that argument along with you, myself included. Williams continued to get better, Wagner didn't. Was as a good a scorer as there was. Just needed 25 shots to be that. One of the guys that Iverson's success led to higher expectations than warranted.

Cal cites him as a case study when people question the one-and-done philosophy. Wagner was a lottery pick after his freshman year then developed Chrohn's disease and was out of the league. If he stayed at Memphis he would have never made any money.

Also his dad played in the NBA too. Probably not a lot of three generation pro sports families.

Not as much as Jai Eugene, Jr. — also c/o 2023.

Jai signed with LSU in 2006.
