Ya, kind of a tough movie to make for a guy who had such a limited career.
You could say Brian's Song is similar, but that incorporated Gale Sayers.
I mean, could you bring in Drew Brees? Would people be interested in that connection? Etc.

ND is a wild card for getting a film made.
I will say Katrina could be the wild card for the Gleason film. It adds another center of drama. Gleason was on the Saints before and after Katrina, so that could be the extra story needed. If he had only joined the team after, I'd definitely say no way unless Hollywood just started making shite up. Probably will write in destroying his home and his uncle dying in the storm or something made up like that.
