Realistically, going into this season, A&M was supposed to lose to Arizona.

Florida and Notre Dame were not supposed to lose this week.

Arizona is one of maybe 3 teams in all of basketball that can disrupt A&M inside.

FSU's length and athleticism is insane. When they get going they're on a different level.

They usually lay an epic beatdown on one or two teams a year. Not excusing it for Florida, but it seems to happen annually to an FSU opponent.

Looking at the schedule, I think Duke, Kansas, Villanova, and Miami will be undefeated for a while (into 2018), but that might be it. Possibly Georgetown and TCU (who haven't played anyone) and FSU for a few more weeks too. But a lot of good teams have already gone down.

If you include the top 4, Wisconsin lost too.

I love watching LSU, but nothing matters less than regular season college basketball. Especially in November/December.

The big 12 is presently the best conference of all time I believe.

We will see if that lasts

B1G seems very weak this year. Not impressed with the PAC 12 either. ACC is below their standard but still very good. I think the Big East besides Villanova is also down.

Big 12 seems about standard to me. Kansas and WVU are the class of the conference, and Texas is looking strong. The real surprise is the SEC, lots of really strong teams there.

Big 12 is somewhat standard because it’s been elite every year of late but the start to this year is beyond ridiculous. ALL 10 teams are in the top 62 on KenPom. 68-11 in the non-con with a slew of big wins as well. The separator with the big 12 is that you don’t get ANY games off.

I don’t think the SEC is that big of a surprise. It was the trendy conference all offseason. It’s pretty deep but the bottom is also pretty bad.

Not Top-10, but No. 14 Minnesota lost to Nebraska last night, too.

It's pretty bad, especially with one of its best programs in a rebuilding year. Disappointing to see as Wisconsin almost never finds itself in this position.

Wouldn't be surprised to see Michigan State and Purdue, in that order, at the top of the B1G this entire season.

Bigger and more length at every position, plus UF has 2 big guys (Egbunu and Stokes) out with ACLs that won't be back until January.

Couple that with the fact that FSU seems to own UF at basketball, and you get what happened.

FSU basketball seems to have this weird voodoo over UF basketball the way Tennessee basketball did for years.

EDIT: Also doesn't help that UF's best players played TERRIBLY. Chiozza and Allen might have had their worst games of their career against FSU Monday night.
