It was good but focused on Douglas a little too much

How did he beat Tyson? He was a two-star coming out of high school!

That 9th roubd was one of the best roubds of boxing i have ever seen.

Buster had all the potential in the world but seems to never have that killer drive you need at all times in ever fight.

I respect what he did and he had obvious talent. I still remember his NES game or SNES and it was great.

In my mind, Buster Douglas knocking out Mike Tyson is still one of the greatest upsets in the history of sports.

In hindsight it was a bad matchup for Tyson. Lennox Lewis is a similar boxer to Buster Douglas (at his best). Tall, technically sound boxer with a long reach and a good jab. If you can keep Tyson off balance with a long jab, he seemed to get thrown of his game. In hindsight, I don't think Tyson was as untouchable as everyone made him out to be at the time. He was just such an animal in the ring when the other guy wasn't his match that it was massively entertaining to watch.

Watching Tyson maul people early in his career brought back great memories. I'd forgotten how utterly ridiculous it was to watch him just destroy grown arse men. It was all just a show in hindsight but damn what a fricking spectacle.

Boxing's last stand. Nothing close to it since.

Agreed.

Buster looked like 10x the fighter Tyson was and absolutely fought a superb fight.

Had it not been for whores and cocaine, Mike would’ve smoked Buster.

I was very disappointed in this film.

It could have been great. It SHOULD have been great. But it wasn't. That was a half-assed effort at a documentary. I think, given Jeremy Schaap's involvement, that it probably started out as an SC featured segment, and they just decided to call it a 30 for 30.

But it wasn't worthy of the 30 for 30 moniker. I had high hopes too. Oh well.

Absolutely. He didn't train at all for that fight. AT. ALL.

I was hoping they would show Don King procuring hookers and blow for Mike Tyson all night the night before the fight and then betting the farm on Buster at 42-1. That would have been interesting.

At least you aren't blaming others for Tyson's failures: Cus died. Robin Givens. King. Desiree.

Excuses still ,but not falsely blaming others.

Ultimately the fall of Tyson was due to Tyson being a train wreck.

That being said, the fall of Tyson doesn't happen -- despite him being a train wreck -- if Cus lives 5 more years or, at the very least, Tyson never fires Rooney.

And the fact is that Robin Givens and Don King did enter Tyson's life and brrought down the infrastructure that a train wreck of a man needed in order to not unravel.

I don't see how any of the above can be denied.
