Few might have won a NC if he jumped to Oregon but that’s speculation. Randy Bennett was also offered the job at Arizona State but stayed at St. Mary’s.
The WCC is a joke though.
I’ve been to multiple games at the So Cal WCC teams. The competition is awful for a national brand.

Baylor, Arkansas, Houston, North Carolina, and Kansas are all objectively better teams that both Kentucky snd Gonzaga going into the season.

Butler missed a game wining buzzer-beater in the National Title game against Duke by a few inches.

He did the same thing when he coached Memphis. He refused to play at the Kennel, and his reasoning was that Gonzaga didn't have to play on Memphis's campus, so why should Memphis have to play on Gonzaga's campus...Memphis doesn't even have an on campus arena

We finished 26-8 last year. The St Pete loss has people acting like we were garbage. We finished 1 game behind Auburn for the SEC title. (15-3 v 14-4)
Maybe you need to go back and rewatch Kentucky at Kansas. Yes they won the title, but we gave them their 2nd worst home loss in Phog history.
