After you enjoy the parking lot, please feel free to take in the nearby neighborhood streets.

As the great Larry Wayne Jones, Jr.said, only douchebags refer to Atlanta as "hotlanta"

Never, ever refer to Atlanta as Hotlanta. TIA.

I think this will be cool. The draft is the perfect sized event for Green Bay. There is a lot more to do around the stadium after the team started buying up land 10-15 years ago. The weather can be difficult in late April though.

Packers gonna be drafting top ten, maybe top 5. Should be something. If Rodgers plays a lot next year and the jets blow they could get another high pick to screw up.

I think it's awesome the NFL is having the draft in different NFL cities. I do wonder what the weather will be like in GB for it though.

Green Bay has built or is in the process of building a giant entertainment complex around Lambeau.

The site will be fine. The parking lot will be unrecognizable after the NFL sets up everything.

No direct flights, most hotels an hour away, cold, smelly loser cheeseheads everywhere. PASS!

What does this have to do with the 2025 draft?

There will be a lot of excitement locally for potentially two very high draft picks.

Wait. Compensatory pick would be next year. I anticipate they’ll be in the top 10 for 2025 if packers brass continues to think Love is the guy.

ATW and GRB both have direct flights from ATL, just not very many

A lot of people will end up staying in Appleton but even they don't have the hotel capacity like a typical NFL city. I have a feeling a lot of people will end up staying in Milwaukee and Chicago since it will be tough finding enough lodging.

cold

"Spring" weather in that part of WI is wildly unpredictable, the temps can range from lows in the 20s to highs in the mid-80s with them often happening in the same week.

I just looked it up. Green Bay has to be the smallest city to host an NFL team. Hell, maybe any of the big 3 sports.

I assume it's because there's too much history associated with the team, but I'm surprised they've never made the move to Milwaukee.

Vikings fans can’t be happy the official announcement was made from Minneapolis during the owner’s meeting this week.

The NFL even made sure the dateline on the press release wasn’t from their NYC headquarters, but from Minneapolis, MN

“Hey Minnesota! We have big news about the location of the 2025 draft. The economic impact is expected to be over $100 million dollars. We’re awarding it to your hated rivals next door in Wisconsin.”

The city owns the team hence why they haven't moved yet. Fun fact: Earl "Curly" Lambeau wanted to move the team to Los Angeles.

They used to play half of their home games in Milwaukee until they renovated Lambeau Field.

This happened at County Stadium in Milwaukee:
