Yuki nabbed a 5 second penalty doing illegal shite to help Max.

No real hate, but Yuki sacrificed his races in 2021 to win Max the championship as well. Red Bull has no shame in sacrificing their other drivers to get a WDC. It is sad thet have so few for those they have sacrificed

How did Yuki at Alpha Taurus help Max in 2021.

I may be misremebering the exact sequence but Brazil he shot his wad keeping Hamilton held back. Not even a conspiracy, Yuki admitted straight up he compromised his race to help Max.

Totally different team and not related though. :wink wink:

F1 will not be mentioned in ESPN for the foreseeable future.

Liberty fricked up so bad with this call.

I’ve watched my last F1 race, will not be going to Apple. Been fun last several years with auto record to watch them. But all good things come to an end.

Will increase my Indycar interest though.

Ironic because with Haas doing better and Caddy coming to F1 - at same time they are shafting US viewers. What a major decision disaster. Could have grown the sport with that plus Nascar shitting the bed. Yet they decided to decrease US viewers by signing that new TV deal.

That’s not what the announcers were calling ‘unsporting’ though. It was before that with RB talking about slowing him down. Which absolutely no one should have a problem with.

Yea, Brundle needed to stfu about all this. That was a perfectly acceptable set of radio calls. Brits acted all mad.

The position swap of Lando/Piastri earlier in year gifted Lando 3 extra points. Max lost by 2. Not complaining just saying. That team was fair all year in letting both race so Lando earned it.

Max is the best driver out there. Think about it he has no teammate to lean on to learn new things about car. He has to do the whole season alone. Imagine the feedback both orange cars could provide all year.

Anyways, ended up being a good season down to last lap.

Have fun next year I’ll check in to keep up and add anything I run across. Just not going to watch.

I feel like TouchedTheAxeIn82 is measuring skid plates and available fuel and what not .

This feels like one of those times where the race has been over for hours and someone gets DQ'd.

Same thing with Nascar, did not watch the 5 Prime races. The only way to get rid of these is to stop watching. Then at next renewal maybe they change. Watch the prices go up over term of contracts too.

Before I post the final 2025 TD F1 results, I wanted to graphically show the race finish and the predictions from the top four guys. No one nailed the top of the order, but clearly pitstop came closest. pitstop also came closest with Leclerc, Alonso, Ocon, Hamilton, Hulk, Hadjar, and Lawson. You might guess where this is going.

All right, the TD F1 Championship results are in!

dg42.net/TDF1/race-results.php?race=24

The winner of the TD F1 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix is pitstop with his third win and eighth podium of the season!

The podium is filled out by TouchedTheAxeIn82 in P2 for his sixth podium, and 225rumpshaker in P3 for his second podium.

Here's the championship table: dg42.net/TDF1/index.php?table=full

The last race battle turned into a total bust. pitstop topped off his championship in style with a race win. But bikerack finished P25, sorantable finished P21, and gatorhater08 finished P15.

The order of the top 6 in the championship did not change.

busbeepbeep scored a single point, breaking a tie with theone and moving past him. In the last two races, busbeepbeep jumped from P11 to finish the season P7. Nice job!

In the last race auisssa jumped from P11 to P9 for a nice top 10 finish!

kengel2 and 225rumpshaker also moved up a little in the final standings.

Stats:

I believe sorantable spent the most time at the top of the table. But pitstop and bikerack really came on strong at the end of the season!

bikerack had four race wins, pitstop, sorantable and jefforize had three race wins.

pitstop had eight podiums, bikerack had seven podiums, TouchedTheAxeIn82 had six podiums, sorantable and gatorhater08 had five podiums.

13 players won at least one race! My favorite stat! pitstop, bikerack, sorantable, gatorhater08, TouchedTheAxeIn82, 1999, theone, auisssa, jefforize, MississippiLebowski, ephidelt541, VABuckeye, and NfamousPanda!

The highest ranked player with no race wins is busbeepbeep, who finished P7 with three podiums.

22 players stood on the podium! Another nice stat!

The highest ranked player with no podiums is MikeD in P21.

I will contact pitstop, bikerack, and sorantable by e-mail about your Top 3 prizes!

I hope everyone had fun! I will take suggestions for improving the game for next year, but I feel like it will probably be pretty similar.

Also, next year I will take donations to increase the prize pot. This will be completely voluntary, you don't have to contribute to join the game. But if we can gather a good pot, maybe we can increase the number of players who can win a prize, maybe the top five or six?
