Looking forward to the season...should be a great one...lots of great races last year and so much young and old talent.

Indeed. I hope to see Herta do well but would also like to see Kirkwood win some more races too.

F1 for drama and tech
INDY for actual open wheel racing
this is an exciting 3 week stretch.

I plan on going to the Indy race in Bama. Gonna be my first Indy race and second race overall. Pretty pumped.

David Malukas is not going to drive this weekend because of left wrist surgery. Callum Ilott will drive as his replacement.

Great fun. I'm considering going w/ our 2 oldest kids but not sure how a 7 and 5 yo will experience it.
Can't wait for the season to get going. I hate the month long gap after just a few races.

St. Pete snuck up on me even though I read the mailbag at Racer.com every week.

Watching qualy.
Unfortunately my enthusiasm for this series is waning a bit. The racing is great but there was so much bad news in the off-season about the series going forward. The delay in the new engine and new chassis is bad, and Honda threatening to leave is bad.
I haven't been following the recent news closely, but I think I saw a headline about Andretti complaining that Penske isn't doing enough or spending enough for the series?

Wow, Rosenqvist, cast off from McLaren, starting ahead of Pato.

Looks like a nice crowd in St. Pete

I like seeing Ganassi not at the top, at least for now, and some small teams near the front.

Actually proud of Rogro not wrecking at the start...actually a little conservative instead of his normal wrecklessness....
Newgarden and Rosenqvist looking strong here at the start..opening a nice little gap

Damn, the racing action is so much better in IndyCar.
But the commercials absolutely kill the fan experience.
