These are both pretty true.
That poll is dumb, as is most of the stupid "way too early" click-bait bullshite.
The only reason ULL got to such a high ranking this year is that half the country wasn't playing football when they beat Iowa State. Once they got in the rankings, they kept winning and stayed where they were. In a normal year, they wouldn't have gotten nearly as much run.
If ULL is ranked ahead of LSU at the END of next year, then we can revisit this.

Sunbelt school with $32 Million budget trying to recruit 2 stars vs. SEC West school with $155 Million athletic budget with plenty of 4 & 5 star athletes.
If we're ahead of ya'll at the end of next year, then LSU has much bigger things to revisit than Little Ole USL.
Hell, call this an asterisk season all you want, the Final 2020 polls should hopefully be enough of a wakeup call.
