Which of these guys doesn’t get moved in the next 15 hours:

Bryant
Kimbrel
Story
Yan Gomes
Josh Bell
Josh Harrison

Which of these guys do:

Berrios
Pineda
Buxton
Baez
Merrifield
Pineda
Gray
Voit
Gibson
Kennedy

I’m guessing everyone in the first category gets moved, 5-6 out of the 10 listed in 2nd category, 1 surprise guy that hasn’t been mentioned a ton, and then possibly a few that I didn’t list that won’t be major surprises nor major difference makers

Today was a day you typically see on deadline day, curious if that means tomorrow is just as active or ends up being slower than anticipated

Random thought but I’ve always thought it’s kinda weird that the deadline is late afternoon on east coast and lunch time on the west coast gotta imagine those GM’s on the west coast are waking up at 4am if they even sleep at all

The lack of news about Pineda and Gibson surprises me a little

Berrios has to go first

I think I'd rather Gibson.

Both have one more controllable year, but Gibson has been better and Berrios is probably going to cost more in arbitration.

Both would be great additions though.

You saying you’d rather Gibson over Pineda or Berrios? Cause Berrios is light years better than Gibson imo (and more expensive I’d guess)

I'd take Gibson over Pineda definitely.

Pineda is just a rental, and statistically they are pretty similar this year.

Berrios is better than Gibson, but he's going to be more expensive both in terms of trade value and arbitration salary next year. I know if I was a GM and had a good deal on the table for Gibson I wouldn't blow it just to wait and see on Berrios.

ETA: Gibson has been better this season, but historically Berrios is the better pitcher.

Kyle Schwarber goes to Red Sox @ByRobertMurray 1st

Feel like this deal isn’t getting the attention it deserves given how hot he was before the injury.

For the Astros I’d rather have Berrios for sure even considering it’s going to cost more

I get that Berrios has a year of additional control thus would cost more, but for the purpose of winning in October in 2021, you can't get any better than Scherzer IMO

Well yeah but I’m guessing the Dodgers aren’t looking to flip him

My bad I thought you were comparing Berrios to Max

Not much left out there in the SP market now outside of the former.

Yeah Berrios is the only guy I see with the potential to front a rotation. I know Gibson has been awesome this year and I’ve always liked Jon Gray. The guys like Pineda are whatever to me and don’t make sense for Houston for sure

Return feels light to me even though it seems the Boston kid is a fast riser.

Rizzo to NYY fetched a FV50+FV45, and Schwarber gets a 40. Seems low.
