Mother fricker I was going to make a thread today.

I kept waiting for it. SO excited. Can’t believe it’s been 14 months since last year’s amazing tour.
I had no clue Froome was left off the Ineos roster. Was looking forward to seeing the strategy w/ Bernal

Froomey's last ride with Sky/Ineos - should be a fun one to watch, no clue what to expect - can't wait.

He was left off the roster unfortunately.
His last race with the team will be the Vuelta instead

Who is Jumbo listing as team leader

Looks like Tom Dumoulin and Primož Roglic will be co-leaders. Both are said to be GC contenders. Tom was quoted a couple weeks ago saying PR was the strongest and the leader, but that was before PR was injured. LINK

I'm excited about the future of American Sepp Kuss. He looked strong as hell leading the climb for PR at the Dauphiné. When PR pulled out of the race, they turned Kuss loose, and he dominated the final stage. He can climb.

Glad you were beat to the punch so you don't post immediate spoilers in the thread title like you did last year.

Wonder how Carapaz and Sivakov are handle within Ineos if Bernal is really having back issues as reported? They have looked ok in the weeks leading up to the tour. They have quality and they might have to cut one of these guys loose. Hope TP can make it three weeks without some sorta fail!

Idk about that. While it ends uphill for the last 1/4 before that it is the rolling type that Roglic or domoulin tend to do well on

So I assume that it is Bernal's tour to lose, Skybots will be too strong.

This may be an OT question, but I didnt Think it warranted its own thread and I also Though y’all would be the people to ask.

What’s the cycling communities view on Armstrong and all the other riders from the 90/2000s who were doping?

I know For a while he was essentially disgraced, but I see Him doing podcast and rides and all that jazz.

Is that Aggie from Sunweb in the tour again this year, or did they bounce his arse?

ETA: just saw your link to riders, they bounced his arse.

He’s an a-hole human being but one of the greatest athletes of all time that became the poster boy for peloton wide doping.
I recognize his 7 Yellow jerseys regardless of what the wiki says.
They are still doping now, can’t wait to find out how a decade from now.
Don’t care. They are the greatest athletes in the world to be able to do what they do.
He’s a dick though.

eta: Hopefully his annual ‘The Move’ Tour podcast is still on for this year. Love every second of it
