He won on the road but they will demonize him because he was an arse and probably had the uci in his pocket. He still had the best time in all those tainted tours. The road always decides the winner regardless...

A fantasy sports company commissioned a study to assess which sports/contests had outcome related most/least to skill of participant versus chance. (part of their battle to avoid being designated gambling). A professor crunched the numbers, with a condition they would release her study no matter how it turned out.
Flipping a coin was most random, with skill of participant playing no part. Playing the stock market was very close to the coin flip. Hockey, baseball, football, etc. were spread along the spectrum.
The outcome of professional cycling was the most based on the skill of the participant. There are no fluke winners.

That’s really interesting. I can absolutely see it though. Just riding amateur, you realize the skill and knowing what to do and when with precision will make or break a race. I’m so glad I started in the sport this year.

Nothing is better than doing a long ride in the morning and watching the finish when you get back home.

I think Phil said he is in London, and Bob is in the US. Pretty amazing they can pull it off was well as they do.
