Cubs/Cards..doesn’t matter who wins the gimp midget fight. They’re both fodder for the Braves or Dodgers.

I love my Cards but I knew it was over with no real deadline moves. Hell, they won’t even call up they’re best and hottest hitter in Memphis when it’s obvious they need leadoff help.

Dodgers, yeah

Braves, nah. They’re vulnerable in a playoff series with that staff and pen. And they gotta win their division first

I would have traded O’Neill or Bader for Wheeler. I’m not convinced either one will ever make enough contact to make much of an impact.

Mozeliak used to have the golden touch, but almost every move he’s made in the last 3-4 years has been bad. J Martinez needs to be traded to an AL team to DH. Goldschmidt has been a disappointment. Fowler and Carpenter are signed for 2 more years and will be near impossible to get rid of. DeJong forgot how to hit again. Wacha and Wainwright are toast. It’s time to move on.

Great comeback yesterday. Goldy is unreal in the second half.

Thomas is earning more PT.

Carlson with 2 HR's last night, his Texas League leading 20th and 21st to go with 23 doubles and 16 stolen bases.

Gorman hit 2 on Saturday. Thank god we didn't trade them for Wheeler. Mo handles our farm very well.

Molina activated despite going 1-12 in double A Springfield with 8 K's, also select Randy Arozarena from Memphis with Jose Martinez to the IL.

Even as a Reds fan I chuckled at his reaction yesterday. He was fed up with Lorenzen, who didn’t get a single batter out the entire series.

It is real, not sure what happened when they parted ways...but it comes out. Not near as much as with Milo, but it's there.

The Brennamen are the worst. Thom doesn't shut the frick up the whole game and consistently says things that are wrong that are incredibly easy to look up. And Marty is just an angry old man.

Assistant hitting coach Budaska fired. Jimenez brought up from Memphis to take his spot. I’m tired of waiting around for Carpenter to wake up. Let’s see what Arozerena can do. Wong with 2 more hits...but he’s hitting 8th for some reason. Is this team even trying to win?

Flaherty has found it.

This is what we saw last year and what put him up there among the top young pitchers in the game.

Absolutely huge.

23 straight scoreless innings right now and that includes the Cubs and Dodgers.

And his team totally lets him down. Happ gives away a run dropping a pop up, then makes Q throw several more pitches later when he drops a throw to tag a guy out at second. Get nothing out of a man on second and nobody out in the fifth, poor situational hitting again.

Ump also squeezes him on a sure strike, changing the at bat and leading directly to a homer the next pitch and finally the pen does it's usual thing and implodes late, while our lineup can do little but draw walks and get hit by pitches down the stretch.

Very disappointing.

Cards almost done with interleague and done with Dodgers and Braves, so nothing left but other mediocrities and bad teams!

Not sure about you guys, but I prefer the Len and JD approach (and for Blackhawks fans Pat Foley and Eddie O). They're clearly wanting the home team to win but will acknowledge a great play by either side and tip their cap when beaten.

Throw Hawk fricking Harrelson into the Brennaman camp as well. Can't stand that.
