2. I think the Robichaux ULL era is over with. I don’t think the Cajuns will be that good anymore like they were a few years ago.

We will be fine. Don’t worry.

NB4:

LSU didn't care about mid week games
Cajuns world series
ULL threw their ace

And the thread becomes a "yOuRe NoT lOuIsIaNa" shite show.

You might want to do some research on that.

Huh? Where did I say we were better than LSU?

You said we are Ragin because we couldn’t beat LSU to which I said do some research because we did beat LSU twice last year. And now, you’re bringing up NC and SEC Championships?

Don’t be “that guy.”

Whatever happened to Cannizaro? I can't find anything about him since he resigned. Seems like he would at least be an assistant somewhere.

Still unemployed and laying low. Bobby Petrino was fired for cheating on his wife with a school employee and got hired by another school a couple months later. I guess college baseball coaches aren’t in very high demand.

That Sports Illustrated article that came out at the end of last season didn’t do Cannizzaro any favors.

Is that just baseball or in general?

D1 Baseball has a good RPI page. WarrenNolan.com updates their page frequently. Boyd's World is good too.

Opening weekend should be a good one as it features two in state series and two teams facing nationally ranked competition. ULM heads to Alex Box to face the #2 ranked LSU Tigers. Louisiana Tech will host Southeastern Louisiana for their weekend series. ULL plays host to the #23 Texas Longhorns. Tulane is home against George Washington, Nicholls is home against Southern Illinois, and UNO will host Michigan State. Northwestern State and McNeese will hit the road for their opening series. The Demons head to Houston to face off against the Cougars for a 3 game set, and The Cowboys will travel to San Antonio for a series with UTSA

9. McNeese State (26-32) - Much like their compadres in Thibadoux, the Cowboys got off to a horrible start (2-11) before getting it together later in the season. McNeese returns a lot of talent from last year’s squad, including RBI leader Carson Maxwell. On the mound, the Cowboys return ace Aidan Anderson and several key arms from the bullpen. It’s hard to tell right now, but I wouldn’t be surprised if McNeese is better in 2019.

Whoa, Whoa! You gotta warn us before you drop hot takes like this, man! This isn't anarchy.

Baseball America named the Louisiana Tech/Southeastern series as an under the radar series to watch this weekend:

quote:

This series has everything you want in a non-conference series between two teams outside of the traditional power conferences. Most importantly, both teams have legitimate postseason aspirations. Beyond that, the atmosphere should be about as good as you can get on opening weekend. Southeastern Louisiana already draws well at their home park, and bringing in a quality in-state foe should only add to that. Even with Louisiana Tech lefthander David Leal out with injury, the pitching matchups should be fun. The Bulldogs will roll with righthander Matt Miller and lefthanders Logan Robbins and Logan Bailey, all of whom were big parts of La. Tech’s staff in 2018. The Lions, meanwhile, will counter with a rotation led by accomplished seniors Corey Gaconi and Carlisle Koestler.

Barely any tickets left for tonight or tomorrow's game at the Tigue. Should be a great atmosphere.
