#22 also was very good.

Sure, Longview had some guys open that Haynes missed, which is to be expected with their offense and ability to run the ball, but #22 played very well.

Has he regressed since last season? Their offensive playmakers last season that graduated must have been special. Longview didn't have any burners outside #7. Their receivers were very Meh.. I expected more athleticism outside. Hell, Destrehan is more explosive then they are.

Curtis would beat the fire out of Longview this year. Simple fact their offense is very good and their defense would handle the dink and dunk offense of Longview like WM and limit the big play.

He's a better punter than QB in my opinion

Ehhh...kinda hard to be impressed when the other guy is punting it 75 yards in the lights.

Todd’s last punt was from the 12, he was standing on the goal line, to the Longview 13.

Disagree. The kryptonite for the option is speed and discipline. Longview had both on defense. I think Curtis would beat them, but probably in a similar score to the game tonight, just flipped.

Oh yeah Todd was certainly very impressive. I wasn't really being too serious with that comment. King did do a nice job keeping Finchroy (is that it?) from getting the ball with any space back there though.

I was really surprised WM went with a FB dive then punt on the 3rd and 12 or so with 7 minutes left. I know the passing game wasn't doing anything for them but it felt like that was ballgame if you didn't make something happen there and they really didn't even try.

I can go with that; I think you are probably right.
