Mens is irrelevant. No one in the south has a men's team.
But UF has a women's team so I guess UF for natty.

Yale is my dark horse to get to the Final 4.
Deep loyalty to Coach Danowski & Duke. So...DUKE!

Not yet, but soon.
With the Pac 12 expanding the women's teams & Utah going D1, the SEC will go all in very soon.

Hopkins going to B1G helped them it seems

I think Maryland, Duke or Yale will win it.
This year there has been no dominant team. Duke and Yale are both good, up tempo offensive teams. As is Albany. Maryland is more balanced but probably the best team in the country. I think they definitely deserve the 1 seed.
Denver is actually pretty bad, but they have the best FOGO in the history of the sport, and if he wins 80 percent of the draws, then Denver can beat anyone even with a generally mediocre team beyond Baptiste.
I don't see a lot of upsets this year although Georgetown is pretty hot right now and could beat Hopkins.

Maryland out of their side of the bracket. I think Albany catches a break with ND having to fight Denver to advance. Albany/Yale will be a fun game to watch.
Maryland v Albany. Albany with the upset.

I feel like this is a year where a relatively low seed wins it. A team like Notre Dame or Loyola gets hot and sneaks through, for example.

Did you see Albany destroy Vermont on Saturday? Their FOGO had a better year than Baptiste, and I THINK Tierney has Baptiste playing or staying on after his faceoffs.
They were pretty woeful against Georgetown on Saturday. The Big East is a bit of a joke with only a six-game regular season, or, does each conference have such a short season?
After last year, I didn't think G'town would be good enough to win a conference title, especially in a conference with Denver.
Hopkins seems to have been wildly inconsistent, at least early on in the year, they were. I haven't seen them in a few weeks.

Tehoka Nanticoke is a tremendous player to watch. He had a fantastic game in the conference final this past Saturday. Along with the obscene faceoff success....they look like they can give anyone a run for their money.
Sadly, I haven't seen the Terps. all year.

If ND can get past Denver first.

No doubt. I wasn't so much picking ND as I am saying I think a lower seeded team like that could win it without a real heavy favorite.

Nothing bad ever happens when we play Baltimore area schools in the first round. It was a rough two years, but the ‘Hoos are back in the tourney.

Yeah, I'd love to see ND win it myself. I just don't know if they get pass the Pioneers.

I like Denver over the last few years since I started watching. They didn't look the same on Saturday against Georgetown.

One of my son's former teammates is going to Montevalo in AlaBama, they're going NCAA, not sure of division.
Tampa area schools have teams, too, St. Leo and Tampa, face each other in first round play in D. II this weekend.
Limestone College in Gaffney, S.C. is, normally, a power in D.III. Washington & Lee, Roanoake, Belmont Abbey, and a few others also populate this division. No, it's not D. I with the huge blue-bloods, but there are well-established small schools.
