Wife's High Credit Score

My wife bought a new car last night. She thought they were going to have to run the loan under my name since she stays home with the kids. I told her to try anyway. It came back 837.....with no job????

I know credit is based on past history, inquiries, available credit, and a few other things, but damn near a perfect score without a job cracked me up.
