Who here is hodling bags from the November/December crypto-surge?
Let’s hear some success and failure stories.

I bought in LTC a few times, at $91, $121, $159 and $256 with my biggest buy-in at $121 for $10k, $1k or less at all other buy-ins. I sold all of my LTC a couple weeks ago at $244. I bought in ETH at $560 and sold all of it Friday at $866. Hopefully I don’t regret it but I’m out the game.

I know there are some here hoping to be millionaires off TRX, IOTA, VEN, etc. would also like to hear some day trading success stories.

Might as well ask about their fishing stories too.

I'm down $4K and some change on VEN currently. Made a bit swing trading other cryptos, though, so not sure how much of that would be realized if I sold today.

I am not putting any more into Crypto. Too much money being made in the actual market. Also have a commercial RE project starting soon I need some cash for.

I know there are some bagholding the shite out of that ECA crap that was pumped here but they will never admit it.

Yup. Finally realized most my effort needs to be spent here. Crypto just has too much shite going on for me to wade through

I'm down 3-4k since January but it's entirely due to coinbase.

I bought about 3k worth of eth to put into ven when it was $3-5 in January. By the time it got into my account, markets blew up but VEN had gone up in relation to eth, so I got fricked coming and going. If I had instant transactions, I would have already had purchased the VEN when it was weak vs. eth OR been able to tether it during the crash.

Instead, I got to watch the markets blow up helpless while my eth sat in limbo.

I have bought during each dip and diversified, and have since lowered the "break even" point. Coinbase has also given me instant buys now. counts.

Bought $100 BTC and $100 ETH on January 25th. Down 22% on BTC and 37% on ETH. Guy who was explaining the crypto market to me told me to put it all in ETH since it was so stable in comparison.

Yes cause ECA is doing much worse than other crypto's right?

Most of the ECA holders on here got in under 10 so while they may be losing, it isn't as bad as those that got in on VEN, ICX, VTC, etc during December/January

There's a difference between the ones you mentioned and ECA. There is no interest, news, or volume for ECA anymore. Even when other cryptos rise with the market it remains pretty flat. The price of ECA dipped along time ago and never recovered like other cryptos do.

It may bounce back and make you all rich, but as of today it's dead. RIP ECA

I'm mostly in Eth, approximately 2k so far I've put in. My biggest chunk though was at $997. I've bought smaller amounts from lowest at $598 and average in the mid $800s. I just want it to get back to around $1,000. Honestly I'm ready to get the frick out. If I get out and it goes to 20k oh well.

I'm also in ZRX, only put about $150 in it around $1.50, but its down to like 60 cents.

I doubled my money...left it in the market...now I'm back to even. I didn't do much trading...

Put about $1,500 in total.

ETA: My friend got his 30k investment up 200,000+ at one point. He hit it really big right before NEO went crazy.

I got in in January so I'm down since then too. I was too excited to get in, and started with ETH > $1,100. Bought ICX pretty high too. Since then I've lowered my cost basis on those, and I've gotten into XLM,VEN, LINK, NEBL at reasonable prices. So yeah I'm bag-holding, but I'm comfortable with it for now. Like you said, should probably just not look at any of it until April.

re: Who here is hodling bags from the November/December crypto-surge?
I bought into LTC a few times via Coinbase when it was between $85-100. Then it shot up to $300 and then started falling back down. Buddy of mine was making a bunch off alt coins on Binance, so I sold all my LTC at around $240 and bought into IOTA, FUEL, TRX, XRP, and a few others on Binance....and lost my arse off. Moved back into LTC and ETH on Coinbase and just going to hodl because I think those have a better chance of coming back up than all those alt coins.

At this point I wish I never touched crypto. The December crash and current lull has cost me money at this point.

re: Who here is hodling bags from the November/December crypto-surge?
Been in since December Those four months feel like 4 years. The first two weeks I had doubled my $ but didn't sell anything. I told myself that when my money doubles I would recoup what I had in crypto and play with house money but I didn't stuck with it

Missed the XRP run. Tried to buy at .26 but coinbase took ten days to receive my $. By then XRP was $1. Bought it, jumped to $3 and I didnt sell.

Had 8k TRX I bought at .05, it jumped to .30 and I held on and didn't sell. Ended up trading XRP and TRX

All that being said, I am not looking at my crypto as much as I was and still feel like I have some good stuff to HODL for long term. And I knew going in not to put any more money than I could afford to lose
