I can’t see how anyone can possibly make an informed recommendation based on that information alone.

I'm sensing that this is some kind of trick question.

I guess stock 2. I would love to know what this class is trying to teach them.

Purely on what is given I guess #2 but I would probably keep my money given the info available.

More volume and a higher % growth if it reached the 52 week high.

The only question to ask... Are the stocks trending towards the lows or the highs?

Whoever is asking this question doesn’t know much. There is no intelligent way to compare those two stocks based on the limited info.

The correct answer is that you cannot make an informed decision with that information alone. Whoever drew up that question is ignorant.

Chicken’s recent posts have had poor reception. That’s the only trend I see in this post

Using the current price for Stock 1 as a standard ($54.76), the equivalent numbers (proportionately; apples to apples) for Stock 2 are as follows:

Stock 1
Current Price $54.76
52 Week High $70.28
52 Week Low $38.24
Volume 2,516,927

Stock 2 (adjusted)
Current Price $54.76
52 Week High $83.48
52 Week Low $35.78
Volume 25,471,201

So for Stock 2, there's more headroom to hit the 52 wk High, but a little further to fall to hit bottom.

Hope this helps.... How relevant is Volume in this example?
