My wife is looking at this job. One of the questions is Desired Salary.

A bunch of rich, neglected, housewives in yoga pants? I'm sure I could get by with a place to live and a loaf of bread. But I'm a dude.

Tell her to call their HR department and request a salary range.

Know one of the developers of that area.

That place wreaks of snobby rich full of themselves people. One drive through it and I beeline to Grayton Beach...drink a few beers at AJ's to "detox".

$1 million per year would do it for me, to put up with clientele I suspect she will encounter, to answer your question

Yeah, we live in Gulf Breeze. We know the area pretty well. For 30A, Alys Beach has to be at the top of the food chain as far as high dollar snobs but she's been working at a job for 10 years and is looking to get out. Seems like a really cool place.

Request an expected salary range but I wouldn't expect anything less than 50k for that. For the right person probably could pay a lot more.

$60-65k would be a good range for that role, but I wouldn't be surprised if they offered closer to $50k.

That's why I'm here. That question is always a dreaded one. You don't want to over shoot it but you don't want to sell your self very short either.

This place I bet charges high fricking dollar. It sits in the most upscale part of 30A.

If they aren't giving you the range on the front end, then frick 'em.

Ask for $80,000 as a starting point. That place will be doing millions of dollars a year in business, and the job description is basically running the whole operation. It's a high end area. If this same listing was in Macon GA, obviously that number comes down substantially.

Alys beach is super nice, but living in this area I’ve learned the nicer a place is the less they pay. Put down 80-90 and see what happens. COL isn’t low in Walton county.
