What the hell happened with ALPP?

The sell off continues; I figured there would be one last week, but it is continuing. Are they looking at another up swing with acquisitions and trying to make the NASDAQ?

I got lucky last week on 12/31... purchased 3k shares at $2.99 and sold at 3.61 right before the bell. Looking to buy more today if it sets up. This thing has some seriously wild swings.

Went up to fast and whoever is selling off was probably buying the dip because it would raise back up by then end of day. Made a nice pattern for people to swing. I would like to see it sit at 3 and close a 3 or higher for the uplisting. If it sits flat this morning drop will probably end.

So I just read this
The name change to Alpine 4 Holdings will result in a new CUSIP # .
So the shorts have to return the shares they borrowed before that happens. I just read that and they are changing their name and getting a new CUSIP number it's in their filings. What I don't know is if shorts actually have to cover before the number change. That would explain the crazy stock behavior.

Hopefully the bleeding has stopped, we found a decent bottom yesterday, but this thing swings so wild who knows

I had a stop loss set for $2 which would have still had me right at 100% profit. Luckily it never filled yesterday

Any of you guys hang on to it? It's about $8.91 now. Not exactly sure what's behind the surge other than possibly their recent announcement to uplist?

Sold it all just just under $3 when it was getting shorted. 15,000 shares about $1.10 average.
