What is your car payment? APR? On what vehicle?

In the car biz, I was looking into deals today to see what customers we could upgrade while lowering their monthly payment. Well saw some customers that are paying $650/mo+ with 23%+ APR. Also saw others paying 0.0% with payments in $300-400 range. Understand credit determines that, but it got me thinking how many peopl are paying more toward interest each month than principal? Then also started to think what the average owner pays per month? Average APR? On what vehicle? Just wanted some input.
My wife pays $389/mo with 3.85 APR on 2014 Kia Soul
I pay $597/mo with 3.99 APR on 2013 Silverado

In late 2013 I bought my first car, but I had little credit history.
2010 Ford Fusion
7.3% APR
$218/month for 72 months
$2,000 down on $12.5k
Refinanced 6 months later to get a 3.7% rate at $258 for 48 months.
I now pay about $28 per month toward interest compared to previously paying about $50/month.

The last loan I had was 1.6%, but i paid it off bc I hate debt.
Cars get me to work and back. I wish I did not have to have one, but public transportation in the south is the purveyor of last resort and unreliable.

How could anyone sleep at night selling a car to someone with 23% interest?

It has nothing to do with a person selling that interest rate, you'd be surprised how many credit challenged people are in this world.
2010 Nissan Titan 2.85% - only got s few more payments on that!

I could sleep just fine. The alternative is probably no car at all coupled with a large decrease in employment opportunities due to lack of mobility.

It's sickening. I work with a guy that bought his wife a car and their rate was 21%. I told him he should refinance the car now that they've had it a year and their credit is improved. His response? 'I think we're going to trade it in. We don't really like it and we're not 'that far' upside down on it.'

First car out of school was an Altima that I was paying $233 at 4.5%.
Paid it off and drove it for 5 more years after. During that time, I continued to "make a payment" into a savings account every month for $350.00.
I have paid cash for every car since. I buy 4 year old one owner cars for about half their new value.
I have a 2011 Honda Pilot and wife has a 2010 Toyota Prius. Both loaded with options, both paid with cash.
Currently have 13,000 in my car fund for when one dies off.
I hated driving that old Altima especially when it rolled over 200,000 miles and had been hit in the door. But now it's so worth it.
