Venmo now charge fees on instant transfers

Anyone else notice this lately? TechCrunch

This isn't true. This is only for an instant transfer between your venmo account and your debit card. There are other free options.

Thread title is false. Standard bank transfers are still free.

I wasn't even aware you could do a standard bank transfer... they don't make it on option on the app.

Yes you can. My Venmo is linked directly to my bank, not through my debit card.

they sure do. Been that way since I started using venmo about a year ago.

but i agree, they make it too ambiguous by putting it under the "transfer to bank" button. how are you supposed to know that transfers it to a bank?
