It would make sense for this to be short as hell


It’s the first recession in history that is due to a specific exogenous factor

This is a popular opinion. I'm keeping enough dry powder to catch one more sizable downdraft. I came close to going all in last Monday. Weekends are time for reflection and major sentiment realignment. It ain't over.

I like the metaphor the University of Michigan economics professor Justin Wolfers used to explain this:

"It's like an umpire whistled all the players off the economic playing field. In order to get the much-coveted V-shaped recovery, they need to be able to whistle us back on."
