Thoughts on ATVI (Activision blizzard)

I wanted to get a small position on some gaming stocks and wondering if this might be a good one to jump into. They had a great run last year but my concern is that was very closely related to the pandemic.
Any thoughts on the momentum of this stock? I don't know if it's a long hold but maybe a 6 month play before things get back to normal?

Cant help you. Never got into SKLZ because I’m unsure how “getting out there” will affect the demand. Roblox, too.

Yea if they truly remake Diablo 2 it’s a game changer. Not to mention Diablo 4, overwatch 2, and Diablo immortal in the pipeline.
Disclaimer: I played Diablo 2 religiously as a kid and hold a strong bias towards the franchise.

LOL did you see their Warcraft 3 remake? Gigantic failure.
Also, the fact that they are doing a remake of Diablo 2 when Diablo 4 is in production is not a good look.

I don't do any of gaming. I'm just familiar with the company because of world of warcraft to be honest. I figured they probably have pretty good subscription revenue that should stay firm as long as there are a lot of people working from home

Well, they stopped reporting those numbers years ago.

Same, they are running CoD into the ground. I don't believe their BS numbers either. No one is playing multiplayer.
