Think bigger than earnings? The markets are literally a discount of cash flow and future cash flows. Earnings and value are everything.

Go research what the historical percentage of revenue which goes to debt service, and where we are today relative to history. Tell me what you find.

I for one lean towards a volatile year this year and we absolutely will see recession at some point in the future, but you guys coming out of the woodwork (AFTER October, mind you), don’t have any clearer of a crystal ball than I do.

The problems and fundamental issues were never solved. Everything was just reinflated with money (DEBT) out of thin air.

LSU, I’m a trader, I don’t care if we go up or down. But with QT going on, everything should start contracting a little With the trade war going on, it’s not going to be a pretty Q1 for tech and some industrials. Just be careful. I’m not as deep down the rabbit hole as Hussss but I’ve started down it.

Just be careful is all

Target equity exposure was reduced on Jan 23 2018. The rest can ride the wave while you guys try to pick tops and bottoms getting whipsawed.

I just don’t get this board. I create a thread in Jan 18 to warn the Bitcoin fanatics on having a plan to exit in case the bubble pops... thread gets bashed and anchored.

Yet you can post here with all the doom and gloom metrics you can find and possibly scare amateur investors out of investing for the long haul and you get “punished” with downvotes.

Most people aren’t trading portfolios so your advice is not applicable and really shouldn’t be considered by 95% of these readers.

I warned friends of mine of the same Bitcoin bubble to get out once options became available because it was going to be shorted into oblivion and none listened so I feel ya. Greed gets em every. Single. Time.

You KNOW you are on the right side when most bash you. Crowds are seldom right. Nothing is ever as great as it seems nor is it ever as bad as it seems.
