I use Thinkorswim....how is StreetSmart Edge?

IMO, depends on how deep you are into trading. TorS was a little much for me. I think your typical investor might prefer SSE. You might want to look for a detailed review of the two. OR, just try SSE after they merge. You may be so used to TorS that you prefer to just keep using. I don;t think they will dump either. SSe is definitely better than Fidelity's Active Trader Pro.

My TDA account rep said that TOS was one of the primary reasons Schwab bought TDA. It’s certainly safe, according to him. But I’m not sure what their plans are for the other platforms that are similar. I think Schwab also has/had an options platform called OptionsXpress. That may have already been killed off - not sure.
