Any citations in these articles? And are people just making assumptions that the Rothschilds have layers and layers of companies hiding their holdings? This family has been hated and had their influence/holdings exagerrated since the 1830s at least.

And Mayer Amschel Rothschild's final words to his sons were that they should always try to keep their five houses (Frankfurt, Vienna, London, Naples, and Paris) cooperative with respect to their banking interests.
