I have a close friend with 0 income (in professional school), 400,000 in debt (house owner + school debt) with a credit score of 790.

Pretty similar here. No income(well about to have one in a month). Tons of school debt and just bought a house last week to put a combined debt of over 500k.

Credit score is 760 last I looked.

How did you get a mortgage with no income? Did they do it based on an offer letter of employment? Or do you have a spouse with income?

Who knows, but its like the OT over here... Nothing but ballers since almost all of the numbers are in the top 5% of Americans

I'm not posting mine in this subtle brag thread

Does it really matter?

Would you feel better if the people with 500-650 scores, where the majority of people fall, posted their scores? Of course you're going to get the higher end of the spectrum patting themselves on the back in here.

With that being said, I'm still sticking with my 851 FICO.

They now give you a free FICO credit score as it's updated each month. They release it on the 18th which is how I knew he used discover.

I feel like a majority of the discussion on the MT is well thought out, and people looking to offer insight (Offer advice on the OT and you may get shredded). I could just be drinking the koolaid too much as well

Per my Discover statements, my score was 751 on Jan. 18th, dropped to 731 by Mar. 17 and is back to 750 now. I am not sure what has tripped it up but things appear to be well overall.
