Down to 27 from a peak of 87 on Feb 17th, people panic selling due to gyms being closed, but it's not like people are going to start cancelling memberships because the gyms are closed for a little bit?
The CEO has been shoveling money into the stock
eta: up to $43 as of 3/24

They are probably suspending memberships, which means no revenue is coming in.

If people can’t pay 10/month for a gym membership then we are worse Off than I thought

Sounds like Planet Fitness might be a good investment in the future.

Read there is slight concern people would buy home equipment and not return to a gym after this all blows over.
Maybe that reasoning doesn’t apply to a gym only charging $10/month

Agreed. Is the concern then just over how long before it rebounds?

Did anyone buy this? She’s moving nicely. I want to buy, not sure when to enter.

I don’t see how it would, gym equipment is super expensive, especially for someone starting from scratch. The average planet fitness member usually aren’t that serious about working out. They have free pizza and bagel parties once a month for members

A lot of $20 puts for April 17th. Might be best to wait until after. If the price is anywhere close everyone knows it will be manipulated.

I swear I read somewhere today they just laid off 400 out of 500 of their home office employees ?

I'm pretty new to this shite. I have some play money so I decided to invest in stuff that I figured would rebound. All these instafluencers have the young kids joining gyms left and right, it ain't going away because of this little blip
