I'm looking at getting a new truck and have spoke with a local dealer about two trucks. A 2013 f-150 4x4 lariat 7miles loaded and a 2013 4x4 platinum with 4800 miles (demo I assume). MSRP for the lariat is 52,015 they came off the price to 45,616 with incentives it's 41,116. The MSRP for the platinum is 54,105 marked it down to 48,987. Total price after incentives is 44,487. Incentives 1500 cash 1500 finance and 1500 trade assistance. I'll be trading in my 2011 fx4 that I'm ab $1,000 above water on but has 64k miles . New company is paying mileage so I figured now would be the time to get something new. With the new 2015's coming out in a few months, do y'all think this a fair price? Personally I think there's still some meat on the bone but wanted to get the opinion of the MT before moving forward. TIA

Way too much for a 2013.

Way too much for essentially a used truck.

Honestly you should be able to get $10k off MSRP on new 2014s, so unless they took at least another $5k off either of those prices, I wouldn't buy either.

I bought my 2012 FX2 in Sept of 2012 for $29,300. Sticker was $42,xxx. You should be able to do much better.

Damn. Is that really how much trucks are going for these days?

Makes me feel a lot better about my decision to drive mine till the wheels fall off.

This statement makes no sense.

Just keep your truck

You dont need a new truck. Keep the one you have.

As seen, I and most others on this board would advise you to keep your 3 year old truck.
