Life comes at you fast sometimes.
7 days ago we were all predicting when it would cross $150

To think I felt dumb selling a bunch at 99.5776 on October 17 after the first dip (to bank some profits), when it went back up the next day.

And we might be saying the same thing in 7 more days. More likely, we'll be doing that in early February.
I look at this, and from where I am right now, I dont see another stock that I think will double in 6 months.
Hell, I remember in early September, I was hoping for $85 by the end of the year. Well, we're there - not exactly how I imagined getting there, though...

Im holding into next week. If this continues, I going to lock in profits while I can. I should have stayed out at $110.

Nearly 40 million NBIS shares exchanged hands today.

5/13/25 - Cunha just wrote 11,000 words on NBIS. He's targeting $80.66 by year's end.
Now that’s funny in a bittersweet way. Cunha may have been right from the OP.
Not the trip I expected though.

wonder if I should open a 2024 IRA tomorrow with all $7k in NBIS.

Nebius Group (NBIS) will be added to the MSCI Global Standard Indexes
This isn’t new news. But will serve as a source of demand through the rest of this quarter. Most ETFs rebalance in the final month of a quarter (Dec).
Unsure of how many shares will be purchased as index funds rebalance, but I would imagine a pretty decent slug of shares will be scooped up over the next 45 days.
Also doesn’t mean it has to move the needle. The bigger issue in the short term is the sentiment on AI build-out and how the market receives NVDA earnings.

What I did is when it was in the 120’s I sold enough to cover my investment so even if it goes to zero I didn’t lose money. I did think about selling all the shares in the 130’s and decided I had to wait for the earning reports. Now I wish I would of sold and just rebuy all my shares

Short term cap gains kept me handcuffed from doing this.

I held off due to short term cap gains but just sold 1/3 my shares and ate it.

Exuberance kept me from it.
But if I held there, I had better fricking buy here. Told myself I would get more exposure if we saw a real dip. Thankful for it, I think.
I’ve listened to hours of conversations from Arkady and Roman. It’s helped me stick with the plan and not let price tell me what to do. A lot of confidence in that team.

Why does it seem like the end of the ride in here?
Can I get cliffs on why everything is melting down?

Look at the price lol. I feel like I invested in a god damn penny stock. Most of us were in options and got wrecked.
FWIW, nothing has changed besides Nbis dilution, inflated valuations, and energy capacity. Fundamentals still appear solid and honestly the whole ai infrastructure sector is down, so it’s not one individual company going down on fundamentals.
