List any moves you want to make this week. Personally I’m debating on adding more to Roku or purchasing Tesla and just seeing how far this rollercoaster will take me.

Also have calls on CHNG

You are correct , I am expecting a downturn in markets later this week or next week, sentiment is positive and overbought . I was seeing if I could squeeze a few good days in before the drop but probably should be patient and sit on the side and wait for the correction

Planning on closing my positions in near term strikes this week in my trading account. Retirement accounts sitting tight. Time for a pull back. Could run to mid 3900s though. Who knows.

Love this - I wish we had a standing thread every sunday night for the upcoming week. So much better than that other watchlist monstrosity

I still subscribe to the notion that the market is overbought, I'm in the "expecting a course-correction" camp.

I think I'll probably jump back onto KO tomorrow. It bounced off the bottom of 2 StdDev like it was supposed to.

one of the advantages to option positions is that they are meant to be closed, unlike long equity positions. The psychology of an expiration date is powerful.

futures are down tonite and the market watcher chatter about a correction is picking up. For those making short term trades I think now is a good time to maybe sit a few plays out

not

I've been moving most of my positions to cash, as a % of my portfolio, it's higher than normal. I think the market is due for a correction this Q. That said, I'm not completely out of the market, I'm just being more cautious and opting to hold onto more cash instead of immediately re-investing it into a new trade. However,I'm not completely out and still think there are some swing trades out there, I'm just hesitant to go heavy for long-term investments.

Trim/exit positions in tech companies that have actively engaged in suppression of free speech on political grounds.

Yeah starting to get a little nervous now about this bubble. I toke some off the table last week and bought a few more stocks. i probably should have kept the cash on the sidelines. The Dems in control has me nervous

I agree that we’re long overdue for a pullback. But I don’t have any long term concerns. Depending on today’s price action and volatility, I may do some short SPX iron condors or call spreads as a scalp for today’s expiration. That’s strictly for my trading account.

As for my investment account, just waiting for the Jan. 15 expiration to see if I pick up any shares off cash covered puts, or lose any shares from covered calls. No plans to buy or sell anything right now. Like you, I’m just sitting on the dock of the bay.

Yea I’m with you. I’m bullish on the stock market for 2021. Just think we get a pullback in the next few weeks and that can crush an options trade, as you know. I actually think since it’s opex week we may get dip and rip here to finish the week so no plans on closing anything on this down day.
