The "reciprocal agreement" nonsense & the refusal to recognize franchise taxes as income taxes is bull shite. I'd be willing to bet that this is challenged in court (again) in the near future. We've got a few construction contractors that are S-Corps, doing business in TX, and the owners are LA residents. The loss of the TX franchise tax credit on their LA returns will cost them hundreds of thousands of dollars this year.

There were some bugs in the February Lacerte program releases, but it seems to running smooth now.
LA forms were delayed but that was all on LDR. Look at the number of pages for a LA-CIFT 620, its freakin 14 pages.

Yeah, not only did LDR completely re-do the form and ask a bunch more info, but they didn't release the form in draft format until late 2015 and in final format until mid-January 2016. And not only did all the vendors have to reprogram, but LDR had to re-program their e-file acceptance system. So I was absolutely blaming LDR 100 percent.
That was until the end of Feb when other vendors started getting approved.

We use pro series. With the exception of the few IC-Disc I need to file it fits us well.
