What is the best and easiest website/app to use? Any recommendations

Whichever one you choose, make sure and lie on your application so they will approve you for all options trading so you can write some naked calls.

Honestly, as somebody who doesn’t know much either- I followed a few of the people here with realistic expectations and who have skin in the game. Stout is a good one. Russian if you have the billfold but not likely. I picked one that was really discussed and stuck with it.
Start with a small amount until you get the hang of it. I only have $2,500 in the market. It’s not much but it’s enough for me to learn with and what I am comfortable going to 0 worst case.
Of course, the YoungManOldMan method is always to pick stocks of businesses you know. Like Barnes and Noble. My first buy. Because nothing says investment like Brick and Mortar bookstore.

I use robinhood to trade since it's free and then have a Schwab account I keep money in for their research tools. plus their customer service treats you like s millionaire if you have less than a Hundo in play right then

Ok, so threads like this remind me uncomfortably about the old adage concerning shoe shine boys talking stocks...

So when regular folks start trying to learn something new, that signals to you to leave the market? Nobody here is giving stock tips

Here is a stock tip:
Don’t buy individual stocks if you only have $2500 to invest.

Just buy the SPY with first 10k.

Only? I would say that’s play around money. I have plenty I could invest.
